Hot High School Football Action Plays of the Game: Dowling Catholic vs. Valley HS

High school football doesn’t get much better than this! Two well-coached Iowa high school teams with storied traditions go toe to toe and land blow for blow in this upset thriller choke-full of big plays. One of the best early season non-title high school games I’ve ever attended. We’re sure to see a few of these youngsters playing D-1 ball on Saturdays.

Kudos to Dowling WR Louis Brooks (#2) who caught 7 balls for 161 yards and 2 TDs and to Valley RB Creighton Mitchell’s (#9) gritty performance, rushing for nearly 100 yards which included the go-ahead 9-yard TD run late in the 4th quarter.
