Tanner Zimmerman: Colorado RB Can Do It All
Highlight Video Release
Class of 2013 RB prospect Tanner Zimmerman (Parachute, Colorado Grand Valley High School) shows some very nice skills as a runner and receiver – he can block, too!
It’s not often you see a good high school running back that can really block, but this fella will square up, follow through, and drive a defender to the turf. His blocking skills along with his apparent toughness and ability to catch the ball out of the backfield should bode well for him at the next level, not to mention his 3.75 GPA.
Zimmerman rushed for 894 yards and totaled 1,200 all purpose yards, during his junior season. As a weak-side linebacker he collected 75 tackles 2 interceptions and 2 fumbles.
His performance last season earned him first team academic all-state, first team all-conference and he was a third team selection to Colorado’s Class of 2013 Team, which represents all divisional classes in the state.
