Trenton Hall: HS Big Hitter Guided By Legendary All-Pro CB Albert Lewis
Mississippi high school football prospect has eyes on state title and college offers
Trenton Hall is a somewhat late blooming class of 2012 high school football prospect, but based on the way he has played this season he is very likely to pique the interest of college football coaches and recruiters, over the next several months.
Top on the list of Hall’s assets is his ability to consistently make the big hit. That’s something you really can’t teach – you either have it or you don’t. And along with his penchant for delivering the big stick, the Wilkinson County Christian Academy (WCCA) Ram has great size (6-3, 196) and displays a very good burst to the ball – whether it’s attacking it the air or blasting a runner carrying it on the ground. Hall wraps up all the previous mentioned goodies with an obvious strong feel for the game.
The multi-sport athlete was a 2nd team all-district basketball player and 2rd and a 2nd team all-district baseball selection in 2010/2011. So it’s no wonder that this talented athletic kid – who played QB for the Rams last season – is now excelling this year as a safety. Currently, Hall leads the team in tackles and has recorded three interceptions, including one pick-six, while helping to lead the Rams to a 9-1 record in 2011.
Much of Hall’s success this season can surely be attributed to being coached by legendary all-pro defensive back Albert Lewis, who starred for the Kansas City Chiefs (1983 -1993) and the Oakland Raiders (1993-1998). Lewis had this to say about Trenton Hall.
“ I have no doubt that Trent can play at the next level and had I coached him for more than one year that he would be high on all recruiting list, a coach would greatly appreciate the knowledge he has of the cover 3 defense and would fit in great in a cover 2 or 3system.”

After editing and producing Trenton’s highlight video, I can’t argue with that.
WCCA Rams on road to state playoffs
First year head coach Ray McDaniel has turned around a football program that has not won more than .500 percent of its games in the previous three years. Now he has WCCA locked into the Mississippi Class A state playoffs.
That’s good news for Hall and the rest of the Ram seniors: in addition to having a good shot at a coveted state title – they will also have more opportunities to impress college recruiters.
