Howard Highly Critical of Bo Pelini’s Demeanor and Actions Towards Martinez

Video of 1991 Heisman Trophy winner and former NFL great Desmond Howard expressing his very candid opinions on Bo Pelini’s Texas A&M tirade against Taylor Martinez.

Desmond Howard verbalized his scathing opinion of  the Pelini tirade on a segment of ESPN’s College Football Live television show that aired on Monday (Nov 22), shortly after the shows anchor had finished talking to Nebraska beat writer Sean Callahan of Huskers illustrated about  Bo Pelini’s press conference apology on Monday. The anchor then turned to Howard and asked “… How did you handle it when a head coach yelled at you?” And that’s when Howard (referring to the video of Bo Pelini screaming at Taylor Martinez and jabbing his finger into his chest)  jumped in with both feet and said:

“…if anyone outside of Coach Bo Schembechler would have ever tried me like that on the field I’d of slapped the taste out his mouth with the back of my hand.”
